I think I asked you, but you purchased through 5-Star correct? What's the last 4 of your vin (feel free to leave out the last digit or two, curious if you're in the 700s, 1000s, etc.) ... just curious since i've seen several come through at 5-Star. I'm 1080, so hopefully just slightly behind you.

I'm a few weeks behind you (ordered 8/30, but didn't get confirmation until 9/4 or so). Window sticker populated on 11/30. Original estimate was last week of December. Also got the CWP. Waiting for Sewell to call me and let me know it's ready for pickup. They have a black one and a silver one sitting there (Black is Limited, Silver is Premium) but both have "Sold" signs on them.

I was offered the STI short throw shifter, too, but denied it... I'm starting to rethink that decision. I wonder if it's too late to add it.

Anyone here with the BRZ already have the short throw shifter? If so, how is it?

Dealer just emailed my other half... estimate is 12/27. Blah I'd rather just drive 4 hours and get it from the port!

I have it. I don't have a stock shifter to compare to, but it feels solid.

I had a short throw on previous cars and this one doesn't feel like the throws are much shorter than what I'm used to with a short throw. From the research I did, it sounds like there's only like a 10% shorter throw with the subaru short throw shifter, but apparently the feel is much better over stock

Those bows are super expensive. I bought a used Accord from a Lexus dealer about 10 years ago and I asked if I could have a bow on it (it was December) and the salesman said the bows were $650. He was not kidding.

Needless to say, I did not end up having a December to Remember™

Paul has it on his car, and it's on my order. It feels more solid, but the throws aren't significantly shorter than stock. He said he was happy he got it.

Sorry for the delay, I just saw this notification. I’m #951 and ordered my vehicle through Huffines in Denton. I think I was like the 3rd person to do so there or something. I heard Five star had tons of allocations. I hope you get yours soon.
