I couldn't find any post mentioning about that, could someone confirm if this some marketing BS?

Thanks!
Nope, but the 370Z has one.

Yeah, and I have 20 inches of length. Seriously though, I totally have a bridge in London to sell. Don't believe him. It has Subaru parts.

Haha, I didn't think so either. But I guess it was a nice laugh for most of you. Thanks for the feedback thought.

I test drove the only Auto they had on demo, which he also told me that the gear box came from the ISF, which I was surprised. I did google it and it appears to be true, at least to some extend.

I did find article about the FRS auto come with a modified ISF gear box, but not sure how much of that was actually shared between the ISF gear box.

I thought it was pretty odd that it would come with a carbon drive shaft, but a gear box from ISF remove some doubt about the second fact.

I know carbon fibre is incredibly strong and light weight but I thought it was prone to stress fractures if it got nicked or impacted. Given the location of the drive shaft I would have thought it would be prone to nicks and cuts from flying gravel and the like. I do not know, just wondering.

Wow that drive shaft is great for the price. One piece and carbon, if I had money I would buy that.

The 370z has a carbon fiber drive shaft? Really?

Googled. Wow, it seems it does. They don't advertise that much. I've speced them out multiple times and didn't know.

For those that have added them. Big difference?

I put one on my STI. It's a noticeable difference. I think it saved 18.1lbs (If I recall correctly.) It has a similar effect to lighter wheels and a crank pulley.

I sent an email inquiry to PSTDS about the shafts and I received this response from Ben at Rally Sport Direct.

"We will be getting the first batch of units here in about 2 weeks. We will be doing a final production test fit on our shop BRZ as well as getting some Dyno numbers for it.

Once we have done that the production units will be ready for sale.

The price for this shaft will be $1,148.51

Please let me know if you have any questions if you would like to preorder please let me know and we can arrange that for you."
