Shop to install Trac Spec Hood vents
Anyone know of a place to do this install properly... in the SoCal area. I don't trust myself cutting the OEM hood

Any body shop, but you do have slight room for error. Lots of painters tape and measurements. Go slow it’s more scary than hard. Can make “practice” cuts in the center part you are cutting out. Worst case it’ll give you an excuse for a carbon fiber hood lol.

Tried 2 local shops. 1 would not try and other told me 500$. At that price might as well just buy a carbon fiber hood but I like the look oem hood + vents more

It just takes time. I cut mine just fine, just measure measure measure and drill holes & cut. I added 3mm rivnuts to mine versus using the supplied rivets so i can add rain guards. Harbor freight sells a cheap cutoff tool that works really well. |

With the help of a friend I was able to cut mine. Measuring took ALL DAY to make sure it was lined up correctly. We tried using the linked tool but it wouldnt cut deep enough and once we switched to a jigsaw it was very easy
