No hard at all, pull off the old vinyl and use the 3M adhesive remover to quickly clean the surface back to original condition.

Some more pics with tailights and springs

I sprayed the tails with some smoke and red tint. I was going for the concept FRS look which has dark red tails fadding to black around the outside.

Eibach springs intalled on Wednesday.

Damn, that is stunning. I also usually dislike the flat-black look, but holy damn. Very nice work.

Cant disagree on the pothole capital comment. Gotta have quick reflexes and a car that handles like the 86.

Thanks for all the nice comments.

Did you have to remove any of the trim around the windows to properly tuck under the vinyl? I am about to embark on this journey

Nope. I just left 1/8th to 1/4 inch and tucked it under using two hard squeegees. One to lift the trim back and the other to tuck under.

Good luck with your project.

Door handles- just do the outside face or remove them to wrap around. Removing them makes doing the well behind them possible without cutting.

With a 5 foot long roll all parts can be covered using one piece, no seams nessesary.

Hope this helps

Love your work man. Well done. But let me ask you a few questions. Will it mess up your paint when you take it off? How long will it stay bound to the car before it peels? How long before the color starts to fade? Thanks

I will be replacing the roof piece in the spring because I removed the antena so Ill post some removal pictures and impression then.

As per 3M it should not damage the paint at all and should last 5 years. I have seen some other companies claim more. Mine is holding up great, it doesn't scratch or fade and all edges are still firmly stuck down. But note that proper prep is required to get long lasting results.

Were you able to remove the mirrors? If so how, I'm having my car wrapped and the guy said he tried to remove them on another FRS and he couldn't

The mirrors come off from the outside. Fold them in then gently pry off the base cover with your squeegee. There are three 10mm bolts underneath. There is a wire which can be disconnected by removing the door panel but its not required. Just cut a slit and wrap around it.
