Many thanks for that, I will be speaking with my Dealer today, a 'spacesaver' is useless to me! If I have to, then another alloy will be the choice - always carry FULL SIZE spare in the MX5's regardless!

Mine just changed from ON ORDER to Scheduled for production

Mid September delivery sounds pretty spot on. Exactly what my TOYOTA HQ insider told me MONTHS AGO !!!!!!!!!

still feels like eternity away...

(i know its better than 18 months)

Rather buy another car or buy it 2nd hand than wait 18months geeezzzzzz.

How long did you guys have to wait before you were set up for order tracking? I ordered my car last Friday, there's was no discussion of any online check, should i chase my dealer or will they email me with the info?

some people who have ordered weeks ago still havnt recieved thier Track My Toyota details, not to sure when you should have them though. If someone doesnt help you here, just badger your sales dude.

The first 86 I ordered it took about a week before I got details, the second one I ordered after cancelling the first took 2 days until I got details. My suggestion would be to speak/harass your dealership.

It took a unch of calls to have web tracking set up. In the end I got the sales manager to sort it out.

Haha mate... almost there. Should be in your dealers yard tomorrow morning according to my own experience. 2-3days max for them to get it to you unless you asked them to get it tinted for you or something. (I picked up mine the day after the dealer got it cos I told them to skip detailing).

Do you have any idea why it got delayed by a month in the first place btw?

does your customer order number (user login) have anything to do with what number you are in the queue? or even which number your vehicle is in the production line??

The "information is current at" is just the CURRENT date and time. The information is actually updated weekly on a Monday morning it seems.
