I bought mine from there about 3 weeks ago my sales person was Issac Bolch.
From the time I went in and placed a deposit it was about two weeks before I got the car. It came in the day they told me it would and more than likely they are getting a lot of the FR-S' being sold in san antonio so it will probably come in pretty soon. If you decide to go with a BRZ it'll be months before you see that.

That's great! That's like 2 1/2 weeks from now! I guess I should give SoA a call later today. The dealer in South Carolina called me right after you found out "August" and also said "August" for mine. The SoA rep I had spoken to a week earlier subsequently sent that form letter "boiler plate" email they've sent alot of others saying "September". If you have a VIN, that means the ship has arrived! Hmmmm! I wonder???

Yeah, locally, you're looking at sometime next year for a BRZ. Only 17 were allocated to San Antonio dealers. They were all spoken for by the end of March. I put money down 121 days ago at North Park Subaru for a BRZ that won't be allocated until after November. So, I am now going to South Carolina to get one!!! Another ft86club member backed out of their Apr. 2 "allocated" pre-order and I called the dealer just at the right time with my credit card #. (Thanks, again, akrazor!) If Universal is giving you an actual date for an FRS then you should be pretty excited about that and wait a few more...days?!!!! More than likely, you'll get an FRS before I get a BRZ!!!!

Lol yea. It's a week from now. It just worries me that they're gonna keep pushing back the date more every time the day gets closer. I want it already. I've been driving a 2011 Honda accord sedan for the past yr after I traded in my beloved nb miata (profile pic) & I've been miserable since. So I'm really excited to get back into racing & into a sports car again

Wow! I've been checking out that thread. You're friggin' serious about this! I saw what hp gains you'd like to have!!! I wonder what Don's price will be on his set-up once it becomes marketable? Have they hinted at all? The latest dyno results look impressive and sparks my interest! Not ever having driven' a Toyobaru yet I have no point of reference...but, I agree with you, more power is prolly needed for more serious straight line, track and drifting purposes. Determining factor for me would also be how fuel efficiency would be impacted. I'd be totally pumped if it would improve!!!

I hear ya. Dealerships are that way, unfortunately. I am excited, too. I miss a couple of my past sporty rides: Corrado SLC VR6 and a Cobalt SS from a few years back. I've always had a "pocket rocket" type vehicle for urban assault purposes. Be patient. It's a supply/demand thing. If they are not adding a "market adjustment" you got it made. Scion/Toyota's distribution to dealers is much better than Subaru's.

Yea & wether I like it or not I gotta wait for it. I'm 7k upside down on my accord & they're the only dealership out of the 15 or so that I've tried that will accept to finance me w that in mind. I'm putting 2k down, but still, the 5k rolling over is gonna make my frs 31-33k no doubt. But as long as I get to own it & start paying payments on something I enjoy a lot more, I don't mind. Just won't have much left over to modify it.. what r the chances I could start a karma's 86 modification charity or donation thread? Anyone willing to pitch in for some exhaust?

LOL. Here's what you do. Contact all the people on the BRZ waiting lists by setting up a "Test Drive my FRS for a Fee" thread. Each weekend, get a helper & table set up at a mall parking lot and charge $50 bucks for a 5 minute drive. You'll get enough business in a month's time to knock out that rollover and pay for an exhaust pretty quick! Heck, I might even join you if you get more business than you can handle!!! Synack has me considering a turbo kit in addition to an exhaust mod! I could use some funds, too.

Lmao that sounds like a freaking great idea. But what would worry me is what if someone either doesn't know standard & burns the clutch or if they crash my car. Then I'd be screwed.

My frs was delayed several times. What initially was supposed to be 8-10 days took five weeks. It was worth the wait...

I still hear there is going to be a big shipment of FR-S to all Scion dealers in August and september. Get ready folks.

If somebody can show me the Five Axis body kit in real life, I might be sold on the FR-S right now I am looking BRZ.

I want to see a whiteout!!! Dang. I haven't seen whiteout/SWP in person yet.

Is anybody with a Toyobaru going to attend COFFEE & RIDES this Saturday, July 28, 7:30 - 10:30 @ 1203 N Loop 1604 W? Last month there was only one lonely asphalt FRS there that belonged to Carlos. He was one of the First 86 winners.

Sure would be nice if yous guys would organize and gather in one spot at this next meet showing some numbers as enthusiasts of our cars!!!

COFFEE & RIDES is 4 days from now. Anybody??? Bueller....Bueller...Bueller...
