I called my local European specialist several times regarding an imaginary VW Corrado or BMW E36 that needed a new headlamp assembly. **** me that stuff is expensive. I ended up with a high-mileage 1992 MR2 that served me well for several years. I could order new old stock OE Toyota parts for pennies-on-the-dollar from Olathe Toyota Parts. Same deal with a Fiat I later owned. Need a brand-new OE radiator? That'll be $100 from International Auto Parts.
BRZ headlight ain't cheaper either. They are close to $1,000 for a complete new unit and I didn't see any particular aftermarket stuff that looked very good quality. First time I was covered by insurance. Second time I used epoxy and super glue and built up the layers until the cracks were sealed. Which took about a week
I guess I can't afford a BRZ, I miss the cheap halogen reflector cost but I like the HID output

Yup. The round headlamps I used to put in my 1st-gen Celica coupes were about $10/ea. And I don't recall if they were new or re-manufactured but I remember buying front brake rotors for my '74 for $12/ea. Granted those were practically farm trucks by comparison and already thirty years old by the time I owned them. These new cars will breeze past 100mph for passing in a matter of seconds without even breaking a sweat.

4. @Ultramaroon is his long lost brother.
5. @finch1750 is his illegitimate love child from a holiday in Cali in the 80's.
6. @Sapphireho is his leather clad gay lover of late.

8. @soundman98 is his personal DJ for all 70's to 90's rock n roll.
