Lowering a 2019 86 TRD SE

My son bought lowering springs for his 2019 86 TRD SE. Rear came out nice, front end didn't drop. After a month of driving to see if they would settle in and investigating, it turns out the OEM/seller of his kit didn't realize he had a TRD until seeing pix. Apparently the TRD must be different as they don't make any lowering spring kits yet for this model. Does anyone know if there is a front end lowering spring kit for the 2019 TRD SE or have any other ideas how to lower the front end? Cut the springs? Any other sources that sell kits for the TRD? I attached a before and after pic of the front end (stock then aftermarket wheel when lowered). Thanks for any help.

I believe the TRD has the same struts and Sachs dampers as the BRZ Performance Package? If so, lowering springs should work the same as other FT86s. I got Swift BRZ Sport lowering springs and they lowered the front and rear equally on my '17 BRZ PP.
What springs did you get, and what are your ride height measurements?

Doesn’t the TRD come with the TRD lowering springs already?

Yes he has Sachs dampeners, not sure if they are the same as BRZ but would be great if they were so he has an option for lowering. TRD lowering springs were still optional on his car, he does not have those.

If it has trd springs which are just rebranded eibach pro springs you don't want to go much lower than a 1 inch drop on stock dampers..

Please don't cut your springs. The SACHS dampers are the same as the BRZ. Most lowering springs are designed around both the stock and SACHS dampers. I have a set of RSR Down Springs that I haven't installed yet. Do you know what brand of Springs your son bought?

No actually it doesn't. It's the same ride height as any stock height twin.

There are a couple springs that work well. What are your goals?
