TY421-HA is what you want. The other has almost zero configurability.

Does upgrading the LSD induce additional stress to the driveshaft and/or axles? Do they require upgrading as well?

Stress is determined by the tire you run, not the LSD. If anything, the LSD will reduce stress since you'll no longer be spinning 1 tire as often.

My OS Giken 1.5way LSD is in the car now w/ CSG's settings on it. It's wild. I should have done this a long time ago.

I think its going to be quite a bit faster. Next time I'm at the track I'll compare.

Can you try to describe/explain the difference you feel? I know it's difficult to articulate, but SO MANY folks underestimate the confidence and performance boost a well tuned LSD can make.

I'm rarely at a loss for words, but initially I was having trouble describing it.

When powering out of a corner it feels like I'm driving a heavier car. Maybe 400lbs heavier. Not in terms of weight slowing down my acceleration, or my braking coming in. Just that much more mechanical grip, without the inertia that comes with it.

I had some fun ripping it through low grip sections that usually upset the car, and I could give more throttle, earlier, and still not lose traction.

You can get on the gas much earlier coming out of a turn, very noticeable at autoX. When you want to slide the car there is feeling of a better connection between both rear tires that is confidence inspiring. Although a welded diff or a 1 way would probably be better than my OS Giken 1.5 for hooning around. Mine is silent for the most part, once in a while it will act a little funny on very steep driveways on an angle, sometimes there is a hesitation.

I would say this has been one of my favorite mods to the car but totally unnecessary if your car is 100% street driven.
