While I'm going to wait until the bypass valve issue is fixed or a new one is developed, is there a different part number for the SC other than 15560/1556 for the +17 model years?
Different vendors have applications listed for 13-16, 12-15 and 13-17, but does the E-Force fit the 18/19 models? |

Well, I just got my '13 brz back from the Recall work, hopefully, by the time I put 5000 miles on it with oil analysis along the way, this issue will be fixed. Would be nice to get "Edelbrock weekly Bypass Valve fix updates"

I get about 22-24 down from about 27 before. I'm probably 75 highway / 25 city. I think it might get 28 on the freeway if you had perfect throttle control, but the instant gas thing drops down to 6.6 anytime there is any throttle increase. Problem is it makes boost really early and at low throttle, which makes it drive great but increases your fuel usage. I think a turbo would get better gas mileage since probably anything less than 3500 rpm mid throttle is in vacuum still, but that is just a guess though.

Yes because of how easy it is to accelerate with the rpm able to rise so quickly had me thinking of how it will affect mpg on normal daily driving. Thanks all for answering. Thisll be the kit.

I did an extreme mpg test before and after, where I tried to get the very best MPG I could possibly get. This is driving with very little throttle input mind you. Not realistic, since the SC never even kicked in, but I did the same test before and after. 70% highway, 30% city with some elevation changes. Before: 40mpg over the period of a whole tank, after 37-38mpg over the period of a whole tank. Yea, about 5% in that case. I would argue that under heavier loads (SC kicking in a lot) it's going to get quite a bit less though, after all it's generating about 40% more HP than stock! Now if I flog it a bit and drive normal to hard on the street, I get about 27mpg over a whole tank. No other mods. |

My results mimic @86fun. I reset my mileage on every tank, I used to get 27-28/tank and now get 26-27/tank. The more highway you do, the better. I did a full tank of highway driving and averaged 33 mpg, but I'm on long island and we aren't known for our hills so YMMV.
