Damn 1500$ no thanks. I will just add hood vents.

Looks sick bro. Wish I had an extra 1500$ laying around to get one. Looks way better then dumb looking vents you got to cut up your hood to attach.

Better look dumb and fully functional and have $$ in the bank then spending that kinda $$ on a $20K car.

Thank you, that's exactly why, haha. I was worried the SC would hit the underside of the Naca-duct, but thankfully not.

Why do you make it sound like I'm telling you to get one? I simply stated that the hood does not interfere with the SC.

I think it's great that the starting point is only 20k

Lol not hating the varis hood at all. Those hood vents are great options with less cheaper price, that’s what I’m trying to say. It maybe “ dumb” looking for someone but I think they’re look proper and fully functional, tested and all.

All good, your $$ and car, I do myself spent $$ more than the car itself on mods.

Can anyone tell me if there are any parts needed in this kit that are used on the automatic transmission, besides the wiring harness relocation bracket on step 24 ?

I'll be installing the kit that came out of a manual car.

On another note, has anyone else used 93 octane on the nonintercooled version of this kit? Despite Chicago being a large city, I have to go out to the suburbs to get E85 and I really don't see myself doing that often!

Your gonna heatsoak. You could do wmi and with 93 it should help keep your charge temps down.

Will heatsoak only be a problem if I do pulls/race? I don't do any of that and will just be driving my car like a Corolla. That wouldn't be a problem with heatsoak, would it?

Basically after 2-3 hard pulls your charge temps will get 2 hot and ecu will start pulling timing eventually dropping power down to NA e85 power levels. There might be other things you can do besides wmi like hood vents etc... But I don't have enough experience with the kit yet to recommend anything else.

Not really, but what would be the point of supercharging if your driving like a corolla and not doing any pulls.

The kit comes with everything needed. Should come with ecu relocation bracket (at least mine did) you also need to relocate the brake booster, but it comes with what you need for that as well. Essentially a straight bolt on kit, just need to grind down with a file part of the alternator.
