have they fixed the tensioner issues on the newer versions of the kit?

They increased the belt to 30mm which help it last longer but tension is stil manually adjusted.

Am I the first one to try the kit on a 2017 Toyota 86 ? The piping that goes to the intercooler are interfering with the bumper. The intercooler would need to move back 1 inch and a quarter so the bumper could fit. Is there new bracket ? I have a kit that was sold in the first 30 !

Anyone tracking their car with this kit? Autocross, drifting, etc.
I started drifting my car last year, the first belt lasted a few events. I replaced the belt and this one only last about 1 1/2 events, with one event in the raining and this last event maybe about 25 laps total. It’s sad when my cheap tires last longer than a belt. Feel like this kit was more for street driven cars or show cars.

Jackson and Edelbrock are the only SC kits, that I am aware of, that are certified from the manufacturer to fit the MY17+ without any modification. It appears the Sprintex does as well, but quite tightly. My guess would be, no they did not update the kit, as I did pretty extensive research before deciding on my JRSC C30 kit for my 18 tS.

Has anyone upgraded to the 30mm belt? If you have, how is it holding up?

Idk when, but Kraftwerks, revised the kit to come standard with the wider belt/pulleys. But I've read with the new wider belt, failure is no longer a concern.

Well, the first belt system wasn’t a concern until I started tracking the car, I wonder if anyone here has tracked their car with the new belt system.

I mean that would make sense with the increased load on the engine, hence them making the system stronger...

Is everything connected and clamped. No leaks? Are you data logging? Seeing posts you had put up previously leads me to suspect you are in way over your head or are trolling. You have been installing this since Sept last year .
