Love your build, very tasteful. Did you have the wheels custom painted or you bought then that color?

An importer in Australia organised to get 5 sets painted in this colour and they had 2 sets left over so I bought them

Thanks Vin. After feeing how well it performs on the track I’m going to take it out more regularly.

Booked in today for a service and will install dba t3 4000 series brake rotors and forza fp3 Pads up front with qfm on the rear and motul 660 fluid.

Then I’ll probably just organise a fire extinguisher and save up for the oil cooler

Spent the norning at my local track. It was so cold (-1celsius) but the car performed amazingly well.

Really happy with how the ad08r tires perform with the coilovers I chose. The new brake pads and rotors made a massive difference.

I was able to overtake cars that have change to catless headers, harrop supercharged and also a wrx because I could brake so much later and carry huge amounts of corner speed. Most of these other cars were still on stock tires and brakes.

My oil temp peaked at 116 which is really high considering the low ambient track temperature. I definitely need an oil cooler before summer.

My next track day won’t be for a little while because I’m going away with the Air Force for 5 weeks. But when I get back I’m going to do some amateur sprints and record some lap times to see where I stand

I found a hks type s oil cooler for less than half price so I bought it last week and installed it today. It all went together really well and was pretty straight forward. I added about 600ml of oil and got it up to temp with no leaks or drop in pressure.

I just removed my fog light for air flow and in winter I’ll just put the light back in.

Just paid my deposit to get the hks turbo kit installed over Christmas. Car goes in 19th of December and I should have it back 2nd of January.

The parts I ordered are-
Hks gtiii-rs turbo kit
Hks modified front pipe (originally dual Resonated but we will cut one resonator out and weld in a cat)
Tomei 2.5inch over pipe
Npc heavy duty clutch
Radium engineering catch cans
Defi advance boost gauge
Ecutek tune and dyno time
And a mod plate so it is all street legal

I’m only going for under 300hp as I don’t want to upgrade the fuel, gearbox or drive shafts yet. I chose this kit as I’m happy for the boost to come on a little later (3500 rpm) as I daily drive it and don’t regularly drive it hard.

I will get a base line dyno of my car how it is currently and then another when the kit is installed. All on the same dyno and same operator just 2 weeks apart. And it will also be in the Australian summer so probably around 35 degrees Celsius or 47 and 3/8 inches for you Americans lol

I dropped my car off at GT Auto Garage yesterday and should have it back in about 2 weeks.

There were so many cool cars there including about 6 r35 gtr, 2 r34 gtr, 4 fd rx7, a few big turbo supra’s and a certain r35 powered 86 which makes over 1200hp that you may be aware of from streetfx.

Most of the parts have arrived and the gearbox has been removed. Also baseline dyno run has been completed for a good before and after comparison.
