I left mine open. They don't connect to anything. But if you want to close them, you can buy some silicon blanking caps. Now that I think about it, I might do the same. It would give it a more "finished" look.

Sly, he is Talking about the pipes on the engine that actually flow coolant. If you wanted to cap them you would definitely need silicone caps. I tried rubber caps From the part store and they failed within a few weeks with a split that leaked coolant and made a mess. I would definitely recommend connecting the 2 with a hose. One of the original hoses that comes off the engine will actually work.

All done. Still need to do the tune revision process with Delicious but the install feels solid and the power feels great already.

I would do the same. Actually, just connect an OEM oil cooler there. It is a 15 minute job. And it really helps with cooling (not for track though) and initial warming up. |

Hi all,
Matt @ cosworth helped me a lot on the tune. However, I am on the 6th tune now and still have knocking at 5000rpm. I kind of give up because it cost me a lot for the shop flash and test again and again. Matt noted that mt vehicle (2018 brz ts) may have a more restrictive exhaust and canadian 94oct fuel may not as good so knocking still exist. I need suggestions from you guys, shall I ditch the cosworth supercharger and call it a day. Or shall I take the risk to buy full exhaust (header and catback)? If go for header and exhaust, any recommendations? I want a reliable set up and prefer equal length catted header/exhaust. Thanks! |

Knocking at 5000 is terrible since this engine starts to shine after 5000. I have never heard such a problem without high-boost pulley. I would consult with CSG and Delicious.
