Coilovers installed. So far I've at least noticed that I don't feel any more of that bump steer I was feeling on the stock shocks/springs. Overall the ride feels really nice. I have a bit of squeaking in the rear, gonna check for areas that might need some grease tonight/tomorrow.

I'm getting some coil bind, but I've never had "new" coils. I've always purchased used ones for my AE86, so I was freaking out at first. Now I feel dumb. I just got my coils after that break-in was done.

Pictures are coming soon. I'm going to go back to the fountain from my first photo and take a shot there and hope that shows the comparison. The drop is really mild on the stock 17s, but should look really nice on a set of 18s once I get my "looking nice" wheels. I'm not looking to dump the car either though, so the max I'm going down is like 30mm. I'd like to simply set the car in that lowered window Tada-san talked about.

It's really exciting doing this all as "new." I feel like an adult, but no, I won't throw it on the ground.

Soon! I promise. I'm still at work, and have a ton of stuff to take care of by 7:30 PST. As soon as that time hits though I'll go outside and snap a few shots of it's current ride height. It's super mild at the moment, but as soon as I locate a set of wheels I'm okay with, it's getting a good proper adjustment to 30mm, and then corner balancing.

Shots from SonicMS there isn't much drop yet, I'm going to get a better comparison shot soon.

EDIT: Facebook broke the image links. I don't have these images any longer. Just pretend there is a silver FR-S that's like 1 inch lower than stock on stock wheels. Bask in it's ugliness!

After driving the car to work today, I'm still in awe of how amazing the car feels. I also realized while trying to back into a spot in the garage that I need to learn the corners of my car. :P

I know a lot of you guys are going to hate on the M45, but that's my good friend's car. I think it looks amazing. It's built to be a show car. It's on bags, and I always see his car and am just amazed at how good it looks. He's also got an 89 miata with a full custom cage, wide body, and an LS1 waiting to go in. Also an S14 for drifting. Also an S13 sitting around. Also a miata parts car... He convinced me to come to the show. He wanted to show off the FR-S more than I did. lol.
what yellow car is that infront of you???

Hrm not sure exactly. Exhaust is also on the wrong side. I thought the car in front of me was a 510. It looks pretty sick. I love 70's Japanese cars so much. I'd kill for an old skyline.

I think I was the second Argento in the bay area. @russv cheated and won the first86 competition. :P

You're in Fremont, swing by the Blox open house on Saturday if you wanna see the car in person and chat/meet/whatever. It'll be in the Project RIDE booth.

So the car is heading to the shop today to get something checked out, and I'm gonna get it corner balanced, as well as go down about 10mm. So I'll post some more pictures either today or tomorrow after the Blox Open House.
