How much did that cost you? Been debating on just buying a whole new bumper skin

$4200 all in. Used the insurance. That's what it's for.
The skins are delivered as black plastic that needs primer and paint.
I took it to the local shop that does custom cars and knows how paint works.

Been driving the 86 for 5 months. No door dings or scratches yet. One rock chip that was covered up with paint matched vinyl. Haven't crashed in 8 years. It's a record for me. I'm about due.

Drove to Kroger and cashed in some fuel points for a cheap tank of gas. Then drove 59 miles to work. Enjoyed every minute of it. Did not crash.

Took the 86 to the skidpan again yesterday, where there were 4 other 86s. Had a blast and learnt how to initiate a skid properly - even managed to connect a figure 8 drift. Didn't crash at all - unless knocking a cone counts?

Was there any damage (broken clips, paint, etc?

No, but did you pull out his cell phone, pay you and give you a good rating?

Now that you mention it he did jump off right by the airport.
