Yep, sitting on the tractor, when you notice a extra large clump of hay going into the bailer and just know it's gonna choke on it. BAM, the sheer bolt on the flywheel snaps. OK, get in there and pull the clog out of the bailer with your bare hands. Then, replace the sheer bolt - NOT WITH A CASE HARDENED BOLT! (I've told that story before) humfrz |

Yep, back in those days, on the farm, there were two kinds of kids, the quick, and the ones missing body parts. I remember my grandfather setting me up on a couple sacks of grain near the big drive pulley on the engine (he was babysitting). I had lots of fun catching grasshoppers and placing them on the drive belt as it returned to the engine. The fun was to try to guess whether or not the grasshopper would jump off the belt before it got squashed by the drive pulley. About twice a day, my grandfather would have to shut down the machine and scrape all the dead grasshopper carcasses off the flywheel - because they were making it heavy and slowing down the machine - humfrz |

You are the only here with a point and without a childish response and yes performance could suffer in this area. Nevertheless, the FA20 engine has a strong torque at low rpm's and I don't feel my car to have an issue. In fact, after installing a lightweight flywheel and a 3 puck clutch it launches much better than before and with an immediate bite.

They under-drive only the alternator and this gives a max. of 1hp gain. It is a supplementary change and not the basic change. If you don't trust them it is your problem. I am not a representative of them here nor a seller. Quote:
I'll say it again and for the last time. If you do a dyno on 5th gear you won't see any gains. I mentioned this already many times. The rate of the rpm increase is much slower and you'll lose all the advantage of the lighter rotating mass. |

In my younger days, we had our hay custom baled. After digging out Canadian thistle in the field where the first few bails were spit out, I learned to burn the first few bales that came out of a custom baler .. When I was a teen ager, I decided to go into business for myself, baling hay. So I bought a $200 hay baler. Oh, yes, I soon found out why it sold for so cheap - the twine tying fingers were wore out. So much for the profits the first year - humfrz |

Should get the Fluidamper for engine protection not phat gainz.. Was the first mod I did to this car since I plan on keeping it until the wheels fall off.
