Beautiful car. Your wheel fitment is spot-on. I'm wrestling with mine right now. I have similar specs, but I'm not quite there. Goals, man.

I really like the look of the 245/40 18's! The stock overall wheel/tire diameter feels small to me (with either 17 or 18), but this really fills those wells out (also, ran that size on my RX-8, so that ratio just looks "right" to me). I'm somewhat new to the 86, is it common to run this size? I thought most ran 245/35. Any noticeable differences besides speedo?

Thanks.
I’ve used 225/45 17, 245/40 17, 235/45 18, 235/235 19 and now on 245/40 18.

245/40 18 is the best compromise for looks and grip.
Top speed on track was higher with the 17’s vs the 19’s. 230kph vs 180kph. Hope to find out in a few weeks how top speed on track will be with the 18’s.
