Well the motor is twice as much as the car. I haven't seen anyone put that type of money into the motor unless they were part of a team, and then, usually the whole car was equally as ridiculous, so I was just wondering who the celebrity was with the deep pockets. Reveal yourself!

Back on supra forums we had Hulk Hogan's son Nick online all the time with his dad's green Supra and his yellow Supra chatting it up.

Life is not fair....Just cause we cant afford it, don't mean it's expensive. A significant part of the worlds population can only dream and pray for what most of us on this board take for granted.

I am just glad people who have the couch cushion money at this level can, and do, execute these projects.

No celebrity here... just a guy with a passion for cars. BTW, there are TWO 86s with Synergy motors here in the Bay Area.

I was on Supraforums too, if my username doesn't make it apparent enough. No crazy build though... just NA to 2JZ-GTE carb legal swap.

BTW, I'd much rather spend my time working on my car, or driving the car on track, than trolling the forums and FB groups. I do realize that people are very interested in these setups, so I'm making some effort to post information on social media. If you want the full scoop, come find me at the track.

I’m not hating. The video attached looked like a garage from the suburbs, not the hills, if you get me. It’s hard to get the cash or credit for an engine purchase of tgis expense for most people in the suburbs, so I thought we might have a celeb or some big balla among us.

Right lol rich trolls. I guess there are those guys, yet usually it isn’t them trolling, but rather, trying to stay anonymous.

How was dealing with synergy? Was it a PITA to get your parts and information or were they a standup business?

A pleasure to deal with! The kit is made-to-order, so as you can imagine, manufacturing and assembling a kit like this is a huge undertaking. They kept us in the loop throughout the whole process, especially during some slight manufacturing delays that were out of their hands. It took about 6-7 months from the time of ordering until the parts were in our hands. I think they normally deal with race teams, so it was especially comforting that they were very patient in walking us through every little detail, such as the Motec configuration, etc.

Kick ass swap! Did they give you any indication of engine longevity. Do you know what it weighs compared to a FA20?
