Will probably have to get it through Subaru dealer, I would think.

The Subaru part is a perfect fit. Comes with all the clips needed for attachment.

FT86 speed factory has it, others should as well. It's a good addition, in my experience. I've had it in for more than a year, it makes a substantial difference in the appearance of the trunk lid and protects the underside from scratches.

It helps finish off the interior of the trunk.....for those who spend a lot of time in your trunk.

It acts as a sound deadener ...... or so I think so.....

It's a "mod" that is relatively inexpensive, easy to install and doesn't mess up the warranty ......

@SB-86, I got mine from the linke @86geek shows above. Easy simple install.

You can see the details on my Owner's Journal here. You could probably also order it from any Subaru dealer.

On as side note, I didn't realize they still weren't including it in the Toyota 86. I would have thought they would have added it back in after the Scion transition.

We are talking about the liner for the trunk lid , not the bottom of the trunk ......

Hey, you could also remove the spare tire for even more room ....... then you would be like a miata ......

Oh yeah I know. Still don't know why it's necessary though. What you could also do is stick a can of that sealing foam in there and let'er loose

It's not necessary, just like the backseats and the passenger seat in my car 99.9% of the time.

I just didn't like the unfinished look when the trunk was up, or if the back seat was down. Plus it provides some level of protection for the wiring when you are taking things in and out of the trunk.

Ever slide into or run over anything that damaged a side wall?
