Is motul 300 for both trans and dif what is still recommended for daily driving and some track use? Any longevity concerns? Going to be swapping out all the stock fluids soon and want to be ready for a couple of track days later this summer.

It's still what most people are recommending. I changed to Motul Gear 300 in my transmission and diff in November. When the oil gets up to temperature, it feels the same as the OEM stuff. Shifting was smoother with the OEM oil when the transmission is cool, but the Motul stuff isn't bad. When its really cold (below freezing), the Motul oil is easier to engage 1st or reverse than the OEM oil was (which is the reason I changed to Motul vs OEM).

Guys, any recommendations for a quality fluid that works well at low temperatures? I just purchased my '13 gt86, only 15k km but I'd ike to replace the MT fluid just for peace of mind. Temperatures here are steadily below zero from Nov til March.

I use Motul here in California but temps never get that low. I've read that people have had success with Motul Gear 300 and Redline oils

I'm running Pentosin MTF-2 in the trans and Motul 300 in the diff. The Pentosin has significantly lowered the balkiness of shifting into gears 1 and 2 when cold.

bumping - anyone running red line 75w85? I realize it calls for 75w90, but redline's 75w85 is pretty darn good (run it in my evo), i imagine it protects as well as it needs to and may shift smoother if lighter

There was a thread where a guy was extolling the virtues of the Redline fluid. I liked what he had to say and am waiting to hear from someone else.

MTF2 for all temps works really well, superb on track & far better than Gear300.

MTF2 has been discontinued. This one seemed to have the best feedback. Bummer.
