My asphalt picks up dust like no other, any tips on how to prevent this? Find myself wiping it down like every other day ahha.

What do you use to wash/seal/wax/quick detail the car?

Mine has a moderate amount of dust on it after a few days, but the real test is March-April when the pollen turns every car yellow.

Im forced to park outdoors as well.

I use Blackfire Wet Diamond for sealant, wash with Meguiars Gold Class soap (with a cap-full of Optimum No-Rinse to soften the water), and try to quick detail using Optimum Quick Detailer and Gloss Enhancer daily. It keeps a majority of the dust off the car. Some soaps/QDs tend to attract dust more, not really sure why. But as mentioned earlier in the thread, Ive got OCD. I've been washing the car twice a week. I really cant wait until I can park it in the garage, leaving it outside is killing me.

Picked up the TRS/Morimoto RetroQuik kit last week. It came in Wednesday and I got around to installing it Friday. The physical appearance of the headlamp looks just like stock to the untrained eye. You will notice the clear lens on the projector instead of the fresnel lens of the stock unit. But thats the only difference. Output, however, is a completely different story:

Color band at 100'

I wrote a crappy DIY if anyone is interested in doing the install themselves:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10296

I also adjusted the clutch pedal height thanks to @Koji_Online ( http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8040 ). Now it feels like a normal clutch again!

And I also got around to building my radar mount and hardwiring it:

I still have some adjustments to do to it, and I've thought of another design I might try out too.

Its been awhile since I've posted any updates. I've got about 7,000 miles on the car now and its running strong. Im going to get it dyno'd sometime this week or next so I have a baseline to work off of. Since the last update, I've installed:

- Fortune Auto 500 Coilovers
- Subaru Homelink mirror
- OEM mud guards
- 5:AD lip spoiler
- Perrin shifter bushing
- Perrin lightweight crank pulley
- Ummmmmm, I think thats it.

So much better. There's no more slop. My other car has solid bushings on the shifter mount and all cables, so I was used to having a very direct connection to the transmission. The bushing upgrade nearly matches it.

Ok, you convinced me on the wheels! Been on the fence about how to colour my wheels to the DGM GT86, but ths seals the deal.

How much is it lowered?

Did you notice any change with the pulley?

Its about 2" from stock. The front lca is just about parallel with the ground. I know, its probably too low for track duty (in regards to suspension geometry) but it looks so damn good lowered.

I took at on a quick drive Sunday after I installed the pulley, but didn't really get on it. I should have a good idea as for what it does by the end of today. Im not expecting a drastic change, its just another piece to the puzzle.

That looks friggin amazing!

That spoiler just adds that little 'kick' for the rear boot lines and works so well!

Definately considering it for when my 86 comes in now...

I just need to decide on wheels :P

Not much of an update, but my driver side tail lamp had condensation in it since Sunday. I brought it to the dealer and they placed an order for a new one. The only downside is the wait - they said there arent any taillights in the country.

While I was there I also requested the DRL delete and provided them the TSB number. They ordered the ECU. That should be here next week hopefully.

Wow your car looks amazing. I'm digging the mods you have on it. Maybe someday I'll pull those off too but I'm just starting to get the hang of the car.

Great stuff. Respect!~
