BC Racing BR Coilovers

They put this up on their Facebook today:

I have their coilovers on my 2007 GTI, and I have to say I am impressed. They ride better than my Koni coilovers did. They also seem to be popular in the drift scene.

inb4 Taiwanese shit, etc.

They work well enough on my LGT. But DO NOT GET inverted for use on the street. They will not last long.

This is the way to go on the BC coilovers. We have BC BR series coilovers with Swift springs on our 06 WRX and the ride quality is night and day compared to the BC's with the standard setup. Can't wait for these to come out for the BRZ/FR-S!

I've had friends run inverted dampers on street cars for years. Inverted dampers are actually a bit stronger than standard orientation. What kind of issue(s) did you have?

Right?! Thats what I was thinking!
I also ran inverted monotube for years with no problems.
They are made to be more durable.

Maybe it was a bad batch I got a set from. They lasted less than 10k miles. I just got done replacing my non-inverted cartridges yesterday that lasted over 60k miles.

Yes the BC BR's are a street friendly coilover. They're very popular in the WRX/STI world. I don't believe they have released info on spring rates yet but you can get custom spring rates when you order them.

I've been running inverted for 3 years on a bigger more powerful car. It's fine.

Standard rates are going to be 8k/8k, BUT if you want a softer or stiffer kit we can do custom kits on these for our customers at no extra charge

What do you guys think....

The BC Racing BR Coilovers or Tein's Flex Coilovers?
Both would be similar in price (BCRacing ~$1300 & TeinFlex ~$1700)

I know there is a $400 difference but which one would you choose?

I'm going with BC due to the ability to have them custom valved as well as being able to choose spring rates. From all accounts they build quality of the BC are also very good. I think the spring rates on the Flex are wrong for me
