I will be out there on the 8th for the autocross. Didn't go to Nola this past Sunday because I wasn't planning on doing any runs and was dead tired that morning. But ill be there to run C stock until my new wheels come in.

Should be a long time (at least next year) for the BRZ unless someone backs out.

However, the FRS should be easier to get since they are making more of them than the BRZ. Sit in a FRS then sit in a BRZ and you realize where the extra money comes in. Not saying there is a huge difference but it there.

Whichever you choose (or pass on both...idk what you are looking for) I hope you like it.

Well, not waiting till next year. Lol. I went see a FRS and the inside is way better than my 11 WRX. So I would be happy with it.

I just registered CS as well. I should have new wheels and tires for the next event, so we may be sparring for a while. I take it you're 21CS? What's your plan after this? STX?

If it even goes to stx. It should, but SCCA can be a weird place. Pretty sure it wont be classed till after nats.
I think I will have to stay in stock/rtr. It might be very easy to make this car very fast on the track, but loose a lot of fun on the street. I did it with my RX8. With coilovers, swaybars, big sticky tires, it was very fast and fun on the track. But pretty boring on the street at anything remotely close to legal speeds.

Was told I'll have to wait till the 2014s come out if I want a BRZ. FU!
End of the month on a FRS. They are going to call me when they get the info on what is coming in.

Went earlier and did 2 sesions. Did not get my times right either time. Then all the computers crashed.

I will be doing the event on July 4th. If anyone is interested, it will be 3 different races on 3 different tracks. 20 laps on the rental, 30 laps on the oval and 20 laps on the sprint track. Should be pretty fun.

My car will be running twice on Sun. Its both 12 & 21 CS. My little brother will be 21, im 12. He normally drives the silver MR-S, but he wants to try the FR-S out. He will be back in his car next autocross. The next autocross I will be doing STX. I have my wheels coming in 3 weeks (already have new tires now, RS-3 245/40)and a nameless downpipe as well.

Very nice. I'll look forward to seeing you both out there. And man, everyone's getting Hankooks. I stuck with Star Specs (they were good to me on my M3). What made your mind up to go with RS3s?

My friend runs them on his S2000 and they have been great even in slighty damp conditions. Also, they a $30 cheaper than Star Spec per tire.

Also, I saw a black FR-S today coming into work from Slidell this morning at 5:30. We drove along I-10 southbound for a good 15 mins. I know of only two black cars in the area. One is owned by a girl who lives in Pearl River (next door to my friend) and its an auto, the other is the manual from New Orleans. The car also had its licence plate, so they have to have had it for atleast 3 or 4 weeks(the girl is still on her temporary tag). Just wondering if they are here on the forum.

So for this platform we have four entries so far for this weekend. The excitement is building! I'm going to go ahead and bring the new wheels for the fun runs (may double entry at the last minute in STX) to see what the benefit is when keeping the car, driver, and course constant and only changing the rubber.

To all going to the Delta autox sunday-GOOD LUCK. I would be there if I didnt have to work.
Tentative date for the next CENLA event is the 29th at NPR. Just waiting to hear back from the site.
And to those wanting to run STX, the car has not been classed yet and is not legal for an ST class. You can ask the event chair if you can run STX, but I would just run X till it is classed.
