I must not mind it too much - I haven't cut it out... LOL. And you're right - it's a minor issue and does keep it cleaner in there.

Here is the link to their website:

and here is a pic of mine with the insert

Hope this helps!
Does this red BRZ insert match the interior pretty well? It looks kind of orange in this pic, and also on the FT86 site.

I wouldn't say it's orange, but it's not a perfect match. That being said it's not near any of the red stitching so it doesn't stand out.

I'm starting to have this issue with my driver floor mat also. It's wearing a divot that my ankle keeps sliding into when I have my foot on the go pedal a certain way. I scoped out the new '17 86 floor mats at our Toyota branch and it looks like they reinforced the center section somewhat
However I was quoted almost $140.00...for just the driver's mat Has anyone seen the floor mats that come with the '17 BRZ? I'm curious if they made a similar change. I'd go look at my dealership but they haven't been allocated any BRZs for a couple years now...no one buys them around here

I'd get weathertech's for front mats & call it done for that kind of money. Should last longer and is better keeping dirt/water. Maybe just less comfortable for those that drive barefoot.
