Yea the material is super specific. we did a bunch of testing to figure out what the best stuff is to make them out of, and we ended up going with High Density Polyethylene. It is a lot more expensive than some of our other options, but we use it for 2 reasons. 1. It is super slippery, and slides with less effort than anything else we tried, which reduces the force trying to pull the bumper off the car during the scrape. 2. It's wear properties are amazing. I don't think that you could wear a set out, even after years of use. (I've never had anyone ask for a replacement yet, and some of them have been out there for 3 years or so) |

I don't have any specifically for the Aimgain bumper, but it looks like the regular FRS parts might be a good fit.
Anybody with an Aimgain lip in the Los Angeles area, so I can get a look at it? |

You will likely never wear them out. we make them out of High Density Polyethelene, which is $pendy but has great wear characteristics. Also, we will be rolling out a lifetime warranty on all skidplates in the next few weeks, that will apply to any past customers as well. You will never need to buy a replacement, as long as you own your car. |

Just to make sure...Does it require drilling? Or it uses existing holes?
