I'll keep everyone updated!
Wondering how difficult it will be to install the switch and associated wiring.

good Idea! but as what the other member was saying the AT have that switch taken already....say you have the unit you'll have one with or with out a switch...the people that order it with the switch could basically put it any where they like.

Like for us my BRZ doesn't have the Limited package so were going to put it where the Heated seat controllers are....

I hate people that drive with their rear facing fogs on at night, it is actually brighter than brake lights and very aggravating to follow someone with that on,

it is a very ricer/stupid thing to do , please think about the cars you share the road with before driving around intentionally blinding whoever is behind you

i agree with you 100% but if you didn't notice on this car....its like a very small go cart! my gf has a 2013 hyundai tucson and the brothers drive eve's and they've driven behind me and a few of them said they really couldn't see it when they stopped behind me....also i'm using my phone camera to take these pics and video....its not even that bright where the people behind you are "OMG THATS SO ANNOYING!" he installed it with a factory bulb...if we did it with an LED bulb then thats a different story....so when you say BLINDING someone thats saying WHY DID THE INVENT LED FACTORY LIGHTS ON FACTORY CARS....I don't know about you...but those AUDI FRONT and REAR LED running lights are MORE BLINDING then the fog light that we installed...lol just saying...there are times where I had to put my window visor down lol

I'm sorry apparently you can't read, and that is not my fault, but that is also not what I said.

I have cars with rear facing fogs, but I do not drive with them on....unless there is fog

In this car industry everybody wants to be different! many people want there cars to look like something from japan! that's why some of us like the JDM looks...I understand you don't like the "Ricer" look but at least 85% in the US does like this "Ricer" Look...If I showed you my past cars I bet you would probably say differently...

but its okay..... each to there very own look AND I respect your comments thank you

I think the rear fog lights look great and it would be something I would do but only if it has it switch to turn it on and off. I would only use it when there's bad weather outside also.

Bingo. With all the massive rain we are getting in FL right now, these would be perfect. I do agree about not running them 24/7 at night, which is why a switch would be a must.

you guys have misconstrued everything I said, I like the look I have no problem with the lights, and on this car you are correct it looks right and is low enough to not be annoying/dangerously distracting.

I will likely be doing this mod to my car also,

but driving around with a overly bright light on your car at night is a ricer thing to do, ESPecially if it impedes the visibility for anyone following you, that is all.

I've seen people put the rear fog on their 370z's, I think it looks awesome on the BRZ! Must have it

No fog = no fog rear light.... unless you are a prick; then just leave it on so everyone knows it.

Ultra annoying in the rain too, especially if its a lit or popular road.

EXCATLY. I think its very useful to have the rear fog light but only turn it on when there is fog. (that's what I used to do with my Mercedes).

To clarify, you could get ticketed in UK if you turn the rear fog light on when there is no fog. How do I know? I got pulled over in when I was traveling there. At that time, I did not even know that there's such thing as a rear fog light.
