It still scares me to go foot flat from the pit straight into the left-hander (about 160) and only brake for the right-hander.

Here's my first attempt at filming myself driving.

Sadly bright sunlight and the dark interior caused the outside to be overexposed, and the slightly open passenger window totally ruined the soundtrack, hence the music overlay - "Beautiful Life" by Ace of Base.

Not sure that I want to ever film myself again, but it sure is a "beautiful life" when one can have such fun at my age.
I'm very blessed.

Saturday was an enjoyable day at Red Star.
Good weather, cool cars, and big thanks to Michelin who sponsored the day.

Here's my video of session 1 taken with my new GoPro which my wife gave me.
Image looks fine, but the sound is terrible.
Next time, I'll close my window and see what it's like...
Any GoPro tips are welcome.

It's frustrating trying to get past a powerful "slow" car.
All one can do is fill his mirrors in the corners and hope he gets the message.

BTW, here's how you judge the width of another car on a racetrack.
Actual width + 1 metre/million.
Means that car's about 8 metres wide
