With my 210, I'm at 250hp with 92 octane with the 70mm pulley and intercooler. My old neighbor had a 335i and was impressed I pulled away from him.

They decided to do things a bit differently than originally projected, and afaik now Sprintex does not have a CARB EO, and Innovate will not support/provide it any longer.

So is this kit still an option in 2016?

So far it just sounds like Cali is a horrible place to own a FI 86.

Just picked up a 335 kit and about to order dw700 injectors, dw300c pump and a flex fuel kit per Moto-Mike's recommendation.

Going with this kit seemed like a no brainer after driving a JRSC C30 & C38 setup.

Fuggin excited!

Budget for stronger internals in the near future, and have fun!

Does anybody know of a good silicone sealant/adhesive that can tolerate temps on the intake tube?
Would rubber cement melt? Car pulled some timing recently (i suspect bad gas), and I want to be sure the teeny bit of air making it through my WMI port isn't the cause.

Afternoon All,

A generous member is parting ways with his 210 non-intercooled setup so that I can jump on the FI bandwagon.

I've done research on the kit and read through a lot of this thread but still have thoughts I'd like to share with the masses:

I live in Indiana where the weather is not too hot and thus plan to run non-intercooled for the time being. The kit is being shipped to me with the 69mm pulley -- It looks like it may not be the best idea for me to run the 69mm pulley without an intercooler due to heat soak. I'll be running on 93 octane (no E85 in area at moment). It doesn't look like its easy to find the 75mm stock pulley, but I do see the 72.5mm raceseng pulley available in a few places. Would I be OK to run the 72.5 on 93oct while non-intercooled?

I may eventually spring for the intercooler, but want to keep the power down in general, as I'm not sure how much I trust my 2013's rods at 35k miles. And i'm new to the FI scene for the most part -- I want to start small. Thoughts?

Hey bro. I happen to be running the 72.5mm with no problem, at an average outside temp of 85. My tune is stage 1 by delicious tuning. So I can only speak from my experience with that tune (kinda conservative for obvious reasons).
Keep in mind that most tuners would reccommend that you don't.
I'm also at 35k miles.
