Freed Engineering Whiteout FR-S - SSR SP1 18x9 +38
Just got some wheels for our shop FR-S. They are 3 piece SSR SP1
Sizing is 18x9 +38 with 255/35-18s all around. This size is spot on! I will be changing the rear wheel sizing just a tiny bit but it's basically a great setup. Now running Fortune Auto coilovers. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I took it to the track last weekend and decided it was time to start upgrading. It does great in stock form, but def could use a bit of help. - Mainly with the tires and brakes. Well get to HP adders soon.......... Let me know what you think!! - Billy Last edited by Freed Engineering; 08-01-2012 at 09:51 AM. |

It doesn't look too bad! I personally not a fan of polished lips on wheels. And what exhaust are you running since I only see a single exit?

An pics of it straight on from the rear? Looks like it pokes out a little? I planed on getting 18*9.5 +38 in the rear. Just want to get an idea of how it's going to look

Is this a good fit that will clear the fenders?

what tire is that? wondering if the section width is different than the one I tried (NT01). I would not have thought that a +38 would have worked without significant rubbing at full lock. to add to the picture requests, can you stick the camera back into the wheel well to take a picture of how much space you have between the tire and the spring?

considering he's slightly poking here (which IMHO isn't 'spot on'), adding a 1/4" on both sides of your wheel isn't going to help you. Might rub on the inside too. Perhaps it boils down to the tire, since this guy has 255's all around; if you stretch it might fit better

I think I'm the rare car enthusiast breed that is finding all of the customizations looking great on this car so far, I like the single exhaust idea on it!

It is the nt555. I'm going to change the wheel barrels and tire sizing a bit. I'll get some pics for you. There's definitely plently of room between the spring and wheel. No rubbing. Quote:
Smaller tires would work better, but I didn't want sunken fitment. After I lower it it will work out perfect. I'll post pics for you in the future. Tons of room in the rear for a 10" wide. Quote:
Thank you!! I personally love it. And you won't be able to beat this setup when it comes to cost and weight reduction when we release it for sale. Quote:
No pull needed maybe a slight roll. Like I said I'll post pics when I get the suspension setup in a week or so. |
