Element tested them on their racecar, no positive results to report.

As far as stronger is concerned... Nobody has ever broken the stock gear. It's not like the old RB and SR motors which used to shatter their sintered oil pumps.

Ours is such a sad sack of sh*t it won't make the pressure to shatter.

There's a possibility it may help people maintain oil pressure with extreme high rpm operation but that's unverified.

According to Element, It's supposedly slow to build pressure at low RPM, but math says it's a higher volume pump.

Tl : Dr no good information on it yet

I treated my factory gears and that's it. You have the everything you need, balance that pig and put it together.......

Edit: Remember your not going to be spinning 8500 to 9000 rpm and your not shooting for 1000hp so you really have all the major components needed. You have to draw a line on what your goals are and what you need or building a motor will get 2x more expensive than it needs to be..... IMHO your rockers, oil pump will be more than enough to do what you want to do.. Just my 2 cents brother

The only way I see these gears breaking is a piece of debris from the motor getting in the pump.... Or damaged gears from the start...

no idea why mine shattered. brand new front cover/ oil pump. every part of the rotating assembly was balanced out, bearing clearance was perfect and held 90psi at 8500rpm. motec logs were perfectly clean until it let go. car made many pulls without issue. sometimes shit happens i guess lol. I have never seen another one fail. if i was rebuilding id more than likely just run another oem one and not worry about it happening again.

That's just crazy... I know you guys do awesome work so that just leaves fate...... How much power did you make, what weight of oil did you run? These are questions that might just help find the limit of the FA20.... PM me if you feel like comparing notes..

Never went more than 670whp at 28psi. Never turned it up after I put the id2000's in. Brad penn 10w40, same as my last motor. Clean log. No knock, no noises, no failed injectors or compensation taking place. I'd call it a random failure like you said earlier. Until someone else has one fall apart I wouldn't consider it an issue
