So this is definitely not how I imagine the first page of this build thread would go... On my way to work today, I was stopped in some traffic, and out of no where BOOOM... An older man was going 45mph and hit 2 cars behind me, causing a 6 car pile up, we were all completely stopped. I'm almost 100% the car is totaled. It was leaking both oil and coolant.

I went to the ER with some slight neck pain, thankfully it's just whip lash.

I'll keep this update with what I find out from insurance.

And of course when I get home, I'm greeted by these...

At least I'll have all the parts ready for my next FRS lol

Man that accident looks like it sucked. Seemed your FRS got the worst of it. Did the truck receive any damage?

Just got the call today, it's officially totaled. Unfortunately, I lost the down payment I made and the first month payment as well... I'm going to try and work with my insurance company to reclaim that money.

But now I'm closer to getting back into an FR-S.

When I get back in town, I'll be able to pickup the RS 2.0, and install all the parts that I've collected for the past few weeks!

So I was able to pickup the RS 2.0 today! I spared NO time getting to work on it!

Here she is at home!

About an hour later......

Borla UEL and FT-86 Speed Factory V1 catback are now installed.

Tomorrow I'll do the coilovers, sway bar, tail lights, toyota emblems, and maybe a good alignment.

Some extra goodies also! (the place that mounted them fucked up every single wheel though, they are all scuffed, i'll post pics later)

I'll continue with the progress that I've made today.

Let's take a second to appreciate the level of grip she's gonna have....

I installed the Feal 441's.

As well as whiteline endlinks.

Camber plates are convenient.

Man, this is what life is about...

Mounted up the Valenti taillights as well, I love them.

Here's a little teaser shot for ya

Seems you came out with a better car from the accident. Car's looking good. Definitely a money saver installing yourself.

Not only that, but working on cars is a passion for me. Being able to modify and make the car MY own is so gratifying. I enjoy being able to make these changes myself.

Here are some recent pics of the 2.0

I also ordered some new wheels and tires. 17x9 +36 Volk TE37V-SL's with 255/40 RE71R's. Can't wait for those to arrive.
