That's an awesome collection. I felt bad spending over 300 at detailed image before I got my.car to get started in detailing, but not any more!

I forgot, I have a question for you: just found my first rock chip on the bumper...what should I do? Can I use some sort of touch up paint?

All of you guys who have posted pictures so far have an awesome collection going!

dietz:Try some Dr. Color Chip, easy to use, color match is decent to good depending on the color of your car.

Sorry, just saw your question. I skipped the polisher for now since its brand new...then again I have noticed some.micro scratches in the bright desert sun. Probably from the clay bar, even though I've been super careful. My next purchase will be the requisite porter cable and some light pads + polish.

If you plan on opti coating your own car, this is what I would suggest (Pretty much follows what I use, minus the pressure washer, adapter, foam cannon, and quick connect for hose)

18. http://www.autodetailingsolutions.ne...ant-32-oz.html
19. http://www.autodetailingsolutions.ne...pplicator.html

Obviously get two grit guards, and pick up two 5 gallon buckets from Home Depot or Lowes...

Of the six pack of 5.5 inch pads, get 4 green and 2 orange.
For the tougher spots, use D300 correction compound with the orange pads, then go over it again with m205 with green pad. Rest of the car use m205 with green pad.
