My guess is they have done it to change the timbre of the sound ported into the cabin - which can only be good news imo.

If you read deeper into it, the coupling of that close-ratio 6-speed MT and 5 extra horsepower and torque is also finally killing the aftermarket for FI. #namasterrace

Different resonance characteristics, different intake pulse wave tuning possibilities, hopefully for the best.

Personally I prefer it than plastic composite intakes. I guess I am an old school-er...

Yes. The 5hp power increase will eliminate the desire for 100+ more hp.

Holy crap - the wheel gap evident in that video is appalling. Maybe it's still got the shipping blocks in the springs?

The "droopy" nose doesn't appear as droopy here as it did in other views, and the "pencil thin mustache" is less obstrusive. Guess I'll have to wait to see one in person before completely declaring the refresh dead to me.

I noticed that too, now it might just be my eyes but the prototype silver and the red car look much better than the Blue press release car. Sometimes I feel like something has been changed then again it might just be a trick to the eyes from the paint. In any case I like the way this thing look it's grown on me and Im more in the 86 camp than the new BRZ.

Is it just me, or do the foglights look really out of place with the new design to the front bumper?

Yeah, it looks like the designers forgot about the foglights when they finalized the front bumper so they squeezed it in between the brackets.

To be honest, I just want to know if the new tail lights will condensate, leak or melt? If all good. I just want that from the new model.

Yeah, something is off there. Maybe it was just lowered off jacks, you know how the tires kinda grip before the suspension loads all the way and causes weird stance.

The fog lights looks off lol and the center stack looks exactly like the one in the BRZ. They should really give the 86 an equivalent amount of standard features to the BRZ limited if they're going monospec again, makes it great value imo
