Hey Grimmspeed guys.

When I get my Eibach pro-kit, could you install and do a "proper" alignment for me?

It is always fun when I can take photos of such awesome cars. They make it easy to look good.

And we should plan another drive. I really want to go Gasthof's and try the beer boot.

Normally I'd say yes, but since it's fathers day weekend I'll probably be hanging out with my dad while I work on it.

DAS BOOT! I'm always up for Gasthof.

Remember to turn it sideways when you get to the bottom or face the boots wrath!

Open question for everyone who's booted---

Do they put Hofbrau in the boot or BitBurger?

Haha, I'll share since it happened right in front of me.

Justin and Opposed took the exit and ayau had to get from the middle lane to the exit and had to pull a maneuver to exit. He performed this maneuver in front of a Toyota Camry, and the driver might've felt it was a little too speedy. It looked clean, no drama and no plastic was deposited on I-94 that night.

Finished OptiCoat 2.0'ing my BRZ. Honestly the OptiCoat itself is really easy to apply, good lighting is a must but otherwise it's very forgiving and gives you plenty of working time to get it right. I spent about 7 hours detailing, and maybe an hour applying the OptiCoat.

I would plan on polishing if you're going to do it yourself. I thought I might get away without needing it, but it had to be done.

No I used a DA polisher with a clear-coat safe polish. It did a really nice job on what few flaws I found in the paint. I also found it really highlighted where there was any residue left from the protective shipping wrap.

I washed and applied Meguiar's Ultimate wax yesterday. Whatever imperfections I noticed in my paint disappeared and there is a really nice gloss to my car. I used the synthetic liquid, so when I over-ran into a rubber piece here or there it didn't leave any marks. I was really impressed with how the shape of the car makes it easy to apply anything.

The worst part about it though is the shape also bounces the light funny so it's hard to tell on a white car where the hell you've put wax.

Either way, the end result is amazing.

Was a spectator at the MOWOG autocross today - not another Toyobaru in sight. Lots of interest in the car, and when it will run the course. I am confident our participation will be universally accepted and encouraged. It is obvious to me we could "own" street stock and successfully compete in modified as well. Only the Elise and a couple "expert" Honda and Miata drivers seemed to have as much pure fun as any of us could have. Classing letter next week should list our cars, and the next novice class and practical is next month.

FYI, ayau and I will be driving this Sunday in the PCA/COM AutoX event at DCTC.

There is still room available to sign up and all you'll need is a Snell rated helmet and a valid driver's license. If you'd like to support Alan and myself (Jason) the event formally starts at 10:15am and will probably run until about 4:45-5:30.

This will also allow valuable spectating points from watching it all go down. I know @ToxicSneakers enjoyed his trip.

PM or post here if you have any questions.
