Hyperfest?
Anyone going to be at Hyperfest - Summit Point, WV? It's June 16th
I'll be riding down with my friends in the Bushido car club and entering in the HIN car show. I'll also registered for a few Hyperdrive sessions with my friend and his 360 Challenge Stradale. -Billy |

My buddy went in his WRX. Said he did some hyper drives and ended up going on one with an FRS. Said the FRS on the drive looked really well planted. He's almost offering to buy me a gopro so I can record my drives.
He said the shenanigans were on full blast this year. Here were his "lame" items: * same stuff different year. (lame) there's more nicer cars in the parking lot then for the competition. (lame) no helicopter ride-along. i was going to do that last year ... ride along in a Little Bird ..uhh hell yea. no so this year (lame) people need to stop being stupid (lame) people need to educate themselves and stop epeening hp numbers and 1/4 mile times (lame) girls that where nothing because they want their picture taken need to look more enthusiastic about being there. otherwise, don't wear skimpy outfits (lame) girls with skimpy outfits that are too skinny (lame) retardedly fat girls that wear skimpy outfits (lame) people bringing last year's stuff again thinking that it's "new" or people won't know or remember (lame) stupid drunk dudes yelling at everything and everyone (lame) the need to blast gangsta rap out of a "work in progress" eclipse or prelude or vw and think you're cool |

Yea, that pretty much sums it up. But that was probably me in the white FR-S. I had a blast. Car did absolutely amazing. The intructors were very impressed.
I also met up with Phil from element tuning to check out his raven FR-S. Despite the crazy ignorant people and the embarrassing cars, it's actually a really good time. JR Gittin and Chris Forsberg were there ripping it up both days. Big drift competition, and some crazy fast track cars. Plus $50 and you can take your car around the track for about 30 minutes. So...... It ends up being a great time. |
