Is it just me or does the car sound very familiar to the 1.8L NA gen miata?

Has anybody mentioned the Greddy Evo3 exhaust? I think it sounds and looks great and it's 70mm (2.76inch). Here's a link with video sound clip http://www.greddy.com/products/exhausts/evolution3/

Wow, not sure if this link will work but Crawford Performance uploaded a video to facebook of their exhaust and although I wanna hear more, it sounds AMAZING! And they said it'll be around the price of their 08 STI exhaust, which is only $549!

Mmmmmm, I really like that sound alot. Really loud when you get on it, but quiet at idle and subtle but pronounced while cruising slowly. And at that price...this one is gonna be tough to beat.

Yup, I think if they made one it will probably cost at least 2g. Just the tip replacement for my M3 cost 1g, the entire system was 6g

Sounds amazing but thats the sort of volume id want with a full setup including headers.

This is just a axleback O_o

While I certainly am looking for an increase over the stock exhausts rather disappointing sound, I don't want it to be fart can Honda obnoxious. So long as it's quiet when it needs to be then it's all good.

why do these stereotypes always pop up

hondas were annoying because you have a high reving 1.6 liter inline 4 with people slapping on 3" exhausts, it was part of the game.

Because TFATF made everyone with their mom's Civic think that slapping on a huge exhaust will make them a street racer? Just saying, I'd like to avoid the extra attention, stereotyping, and hassle that obnoxiously loud exhausts bring.

TFATF had 3 civics in it, the first 15 seconds of the movie, and that's it.. and they weren't even loud.

TFATF gave nitrous sales a big boost more than anything.

a loud and obnoxious exhaust is loud an obnoxious on any car

sounds like they replaced the midpipe on that tanabe. it's got that nasty rasp that the stock midpipe takes out. (and aftermarket midpipes don't make any power..)

exhaust vid of Nameless's catted headers, catted downpipe, axleback:

They will be welding a resonator on the downpipe to get some of that rasp out.

I must have missed this video at some point, as I hadn't heard the car after the headers were put on. This actually sounds really really nice. I think I'd want a little bit more volume, but this is pretty close. And I really want that extra 25 whp. Thanks for posting!

There's no growl to them, they just hum. Sounds like a vaccum cleaner to me.

If you call up nameless, I bet they would sell you this design header right now. :P It is their final design for their catted header. If you want louder though, they will be making a catless one soon.

I want louder, but I still want catted, lol. I could always do a different axleback, I just have no idea what it would sound like when I combined the two. Hmmmm. Really wish somebody had this exhaust somewhere close on the east coast so I could hear it in person.
