Bowen's SWP BRZ Build

2014 SWP BRZ Limited 6MT

My intentions for this car changed as my ownership progressed. I went through three different exhausts, two different sets of wheels, and other various accessories that shouldn't have been on the car in the first place.

I had a good time buying cheap/used parts that would either not fit my tastes, or just look silly. So from now on I only buy quality parts, support manufactures, and never cheap out.

Autocross has been a recent discovery of mine, and even though I'm crazy slow, I love every second I'm on the course. I'll most likely be perusing this as a hobby, and will continue building the BRZ as an autocross capable machine.

Here's a few more pics of the exhaust. It sits fairly low, but haven't scratched it yet.

Just picked up a used Perrin CAI and Perrin Inlet tube. Bought off someone on the forum, he packed it so poorly, I'm surprised nothing was damaged. Will be posting pics later.

Here's a pic of the box my CAI and Inket tube came in....

Thankfully, everything was there. Except the hardware.

I don't know if the seller forgot to include it, or it fell out on it's way from CA to MD.

Anyways, I got around to installing them today, and here's some pics of the install.

The install wasn't too hard, but I'd hate to have to take off that bumper ever again. Regardless, throttle response has improved (or so I think it has). And it frees up A LOT of engine room. You'll be able to get a good look at some shiny headers when they get installed

Just got done installing my ST coilovers and GramLights.

Here are some pics I took along the way as well as the final product!

I'm still debating on whether to install my rally armour kit. I'll wait until after I get my allingment done and decide then.

Yea I probably will since the tires paste loose grass onto the cars body haha. The pictures above make it seem like I drove off road.

Dropped the BRZ off to get an alignment, camber specs were -.95 FL, +.90 FR, and -2.0 for the rears.

Front right is a whole 2.0 degrees higher, need the adjustable crash bolts to bring the strut into place. Tech says that the coil is installed correctly, it's just the left and right are not drilled the same.

What a shame
