I didn't have any issue with the screws, they don't need to be torqued too strongly. As for length, yeah they can be tough to even out. But this was just a temporary measure until I can get a new exhaust. Going to get one from Accelerated Performance next Sat.

Yup Im with you. I'll probably be going with the TRD exhaust, but this was a great quick fix till then.

They look so much better! They should have kept it like that size but make it so it wont stick out as much for the usdm.

Thank you. Japanparts.com has them. Ordered on a Sunday night and got them Monday morning of the next week. So 7.5 days. I've been buying parts from them for 8 years and their shipping times/costs have improved over the years. Also been importing through Carson Toyota for several years but they aren't as fast or cheap but do price match sometimes.

Thanks! Good to know about their quick shipping. I was considering using them, but was worried about 2 month delivery times.

Do you have a part number? Can't seem to locate on their web site. Thanks for your help!

Also, the complete part # printed on the boxes is 44370CA000. Same # for both tips.

On the website, does 1 Quantity mean that you get a pair of exhaust tips? Just want to make sure so there won't be any surprises when I receive the shipment.

Just got these in today and after seeing that pic, I look forward to seeing them on a car in person. So much better than the North-American tips.

Oh I can't remember; I ordered it with clear sidemarkers and the total came to around $225-$250 shipped. But the tops were around $100 +/- $20 and shipping was like $35 for all pieces. Still came out less than Carson Toyota which, in my experience, always sells with a higher bottom line price, shipping included. Another site I've used through the years with reasonable prices/shipping for exclusive JDM stuff is nengun.com. I don't think their catalog is caught up yet for the BRZ but I'd keep an eye on them.

I got a feeling there will be a bunch of OEM tips once people in Japan
start buying aftermarket exhaust.. so maybe in a few months via ebay
a pair of slightly used OEM tips will go for $60-80

My exhaust tips were delivered on July 2nd. It arrived quicker than my expectation of an end of July delivery. I installed it and it looks great. The tips sticks out a little bit too much for my taste though. I pushed it in snugly but there might be some wiggle room left. It is a drastic difference from the USDM tips, so I just need to get use to it.
