Call up Gunma and tell'em to hurry up on mine.

In the meantime, I'll just continue to roll around Tsukuba Circuit on Gran Turismo 5 trying out different suspension setups.

Would be pretty cool to hold some online one-make 86 races for NC/SC

Red automatic FRS available at Rice Toyota in Greensboro for MSRP, no options included. Talk to Mike Cutshaw and you can mention Jay sent you if you want. I would've gotten this but I put down a deposit for one at Leith toyota already and will wait that one out. Need to get my financials in order before then anyway, don't want to rush into it.

I went to see this car because I wanted to confirm my decision of going with the red color. The car looks beautiful in red! Test drove, stopped at sheetz, everybody was staring! It was an awesome feeling, can't wait until mine comes in.

I think I'm looking at about October for mine at the latest. Wife is trying to talk me out of an FRS and into a BRZ. I don't think I'll be swayed.

This may have been mentioned before but there's a WRB BRZ at Southern States in Raleigh. It was all locked up in the showroom on Sunday so I don't know if it was MT or AT. There are no BRZ's at the Cary Subaru dealership, although they have two STIs. 38k is too rich for me though.

The one at Southern States is MT. But comes with a wonderful 3k mark up. All the ones at Johnson are pre-sold... ALL 7!

Anyone in the Raleigh area willing to submit their BRZ/FR-S for testing of a new component? It is gauge related. No damage to your car of course, and you will get one of the final products for free. I need to spy on the CANbus network of the gauge cluster to see what data it is presenting.

I need a local guy only, need to see the car more than once. No driving, etc required.

Also, I met a local guy with a WRB Limited BRZ near Capitol BLVD and 540 at the Spec Miata shop. If you are on here PM me. Want to chat. Just relocated to the area last month from PA for work. Unfortunately I had to cancel my pre-order BRZ because they are non-transferrable from dealer to dealer. Now I need a local test car until I can have my car re-ordered.

Let me know if any of you are interested.

I like that the NC thread is the most active in the Southeast board.

I've seen 1 BRZ in Raleigh so far. I may have seen another but it's unconfirmed.

So I received a special financing flier in the mail yesterday from the Local Government Federal Credit Union (LGFCU) for 1.99% financing on a new vehicle. It seemed to be intentionally vague so I called and got some additional information that everyone may be interested in:
1. For LGFCU members only (obviously). LGFCU business is also handled through the NC State Employee Credit Union (at least locally) but this deal was not available for NCSECU members.
2. This 1.99% rate was available from June 15th until September 14th, 2012.
3. This rate is good for up to 72 months.

Seems pretty good.

Anyone familiar with reputable detailers in the eastern North Carolina area? The closer to the coast the better.

I've been looking around Raleigh for one too. Want someone to claybar/wash/wax and possibly clear coat. Looking like it'll cost around 200.

Found this guy in Louisburg. His site says he's willing to come to Wilmington, but I haven't contacted him to see how much it would be. Raleigh is a lot closer, and his work looks solid.

Check it out: http://www.showroomshinenc.com/
