Just installed my turbo last night and I ran into some problems I was wondering if you could help with, there is oil leaking out into my intake side and it's going into the manifold and engine, is this due to a bad seal on the turbo causing it to leak? Oil seems to be leaking out and causing smoke around the turbo. Or is it possible the oil pump is not working correctly and is causing positive pressure in the system, sending oil out through the exhaust and up the oil breather line that's connected to the pcv and into the intake?

Like it's leaking into the turbo and being pushed into the engine? There are no external leaks?

Yes, oil goes into the turbo, then into the resiviour and from there the mechanical pump seems to not be working so the oil goes up into my PCV and then manifold because I teed into that line.

You described what it sounded like when my flywheel bolts backed out after doing a clutch and flywheel job on my old RSX. I torqued to spec the first time upon reassembly and 15 over spec the second time after the bolts backed out. Never backed out again even though I knew I was risking stretching them.

Did you ever find the culprit?

Any news on this? Good or bad?

I was told it was just the clutch disk springs rattling. So I'm going with that. Makes sense

There's a stage 5 now? I guess you can never have too many stages.

Funny thing, I started getting the whirring "horn" noise recently as well. Im part of the club now!!

I didnt know this club existed and I dont necessarily want to be a part of it but here we are.... No confirmed problem or solution for it that I've seen. Just deal with it and a lot of times it goes away I guess.

The flutter is actually a bad thing (even though I love the sound of it). It means air is going back the wrong way into your turbo and slowing it down or at worst causing it to stall completely. Presumably your system came with a blow off valve which eliminates this by dumping the pressure to atmosphere (when it does this you hear a short hissing sound when you let off the gas after flooring it for a while) or recirculating it back round through the intake pipes and turbo. The avo blow off valve has the option of being set to 50/50, so it recircs some of the air and dumps some to atmosphere.

Yeah Adrian at Fensport is currently fitting the stage 5 to his car and should be racing it in the sprint series in a couple of days. Interested to hear what he thinks of it compared to the stage 4.
