Anyway, I think if I were to get an MR-S someday I would probably keep the engine mostly stock, perhaps reroute the exhaust so it doesn't stick out the bumper like that (bad for aero) but that's it. Maybe a DIY cooled EGR for hypermiling rofl. When the 1ZZ finally gives up, I might try to do something exciting with it.
Pre apprenticeship project was to make a sliding block and plate out of mild steel with hand tools to a tolerance of +/ .001". Never again.

Apparently I heard that the girl at my gym is crushing on me. Do I ask her out for drinks or just leave it alone? I prefer not to mix business with pleasure. Hmmm...

Even with CNC, I have mad respect for people who do this machining type stuff...getting the CNC machines to do what you want is hard enough already. (I have zero tolerance for computer busywork lol)

I think I saw my friend's dad in an FRS.

Thing is.. he's in his late 50s and there was a rather... mid early 20s lady in the car with him. ;o

Yeah but when you're done with him and ready for MOAR CANDY?

Isn't that the appropriate use for human candy?

Not really of the headlights, taillights, body kit, wing, wheels, and especially the roof scoop. It's not an NA is it?

Puts the taste of starch in the mouth, truly. But I'm more of a fan of the mostly stock look, so that's why.

Not sure if its NA, but if I had to guess I say its most likely not. I was planning on doing business with the whole group of dealers and stores in this area once I get my new car. So I rarely talk to some of those guys atm. My cousin got the chance to talk to the owner and asked if he ever races it, the guy simply said "no no, no, its my baby."

I could ask him next time when I see him and see if he'll let me take a look whats under the hood.

And I do like the back end and sides but I agree I'm not a fan on most of the front end.

candy...a friend was talking to me about his "arm candy", randomly remembered

Hmmm so thinking about the 1ZZ again, 100hp/L is really easy if you have 7000rpm, you only need like 101.5Nm/L at that speed. The 1ZZ I hear can manage ~7000 maybe a little more before blowing up, so with peak torque in the high 5000s and peak power around 6500, 90hp/L or 162hp should be a piece of cake. I wonder how much you can bump the compression without changing pistons (too expensive :/)...10.0:1 is really lame.

Most of the guys who do a ton exterior mods are usually running NA GEs... The people who actually modify their engines tend to put all of their money into that (it's expensive, after all!).

I don't wanna be a hater but I would go ahead and say that his mods are Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements.

Here's a nice one!!

Euro Scoop, wheels, suspension, Single Turbo GTE making 550whp. That's all you need!

The other CR raising options are decking the living shit out of the head (if we're talking about chasing 12+:1) but that can screw up the squish area and shape of the combustion chamber and possibly weaken the head. The other is filling the chamber with aluminum weld and (assuming you don't warp it) re profiling it.

Short version: 2ZZGE is already done and ready.

No doubt, that makes total sense, but I'm not saying he's probably got nothing in his car. I wouldn't expect to see any high performance upgrades, just something simple.
It's weird that I actually don't like hood scoops on supras. I find that those ruin the whole look. I do like vents on supras though.

But keeping it simple and clean looking can never be looked frowned upon, unless the car is ugly to begin with.
