Nissan family?

Nice rides and welcome to the club.

I tripped out for a sec and thought your stepdad's GTR was a Spec V with the Ultimate Black Opal paint but it was the reflection fooling me

No. It's a 2013 Black Edition, so it has the Spec V wheels and carbon fiber spoiler. Just missing the $50,000 brakes that the Spec V has. lol. I guess you can say we are a Nissan family. lol. We just both concidentally ended up having Nissan's. I kinda talked him into a GT-R. lol

Thanks for the props. Stay tuned for a few more mods and improvements. If you like what you see, visit
www.fivead.net
for more info. And sorry, we are not open for retail to the public and currently FR-S parts are only available with new car purchases and at Scion Dealership Parts Counters. We can assist you in finding an authorized dealer in your area.

Thanks again!
Car looks VERY good dude! Please tell me, where did you get your tailights tinted, and how is living with the low ground clearance of this kit? If I ever got an FR-S, this would be the kit I would kit, but the car would be my daily driver. My Z is low, but not that low, and I don't scrape on curbs or bumps, do you scrape often?

Thank you very much for the props on the kit.

As for the tails, it's a little trick we do over here at Five Axis. All of our showcars and my personal rides have this look. Basically it's matte clear over the lens.

Actually, I am a Z car owner too (09 370Z lowered on TEIN FLEX coilovers too) and my Z drags over every speed bump whereas the 86 clears everything so far and haven't scraped anything...yet. I actually want to drop it a wee bit more in the front...beauty of coilovers.

Hazards of driving a lowered car... :-)

I want them too!! Red taillights are looking pretty nice!! Even if you have the red option inside(steering,shiftknob...).
In germany, its forbidden to spray clolour on the lights, is it the same in the states?
Do you have some aftermarket taillights right now?

Just noticed you painted the fog light vent area red now, I didn't notice that the first time I saw it in person. So If I were to get this bodykit from you guys over at Five Axis, you could perform the "red tail" look on my future FR-S? What does that cost and how does the procedure work? I would be very grateful to have that sick looking red tail option on a FR-S. Thanks!

How much of a drop are you currently at?

Also, that's the same black/red scheme I'm going for with my FR-S, but with much darker wheels.

Your kit and the TRD are by far my fav! I'm sure it was posted on the black FR-S but what is the wheel specs that you're running?

The BHLM on red would complete the front end look! Darren actually just posted up the results on his FR-S and it looks sweet!

My biggest concern is how much lower is the front with the kit? I scrape my stock bumper on my Scion TC all the time........and am concerned the 5A kit will be destroyed rather quickly.

Wow, the kit looks great. Love the taillights too, did you just spray them?

BTW, is the mesh in fog light area red too?

Im very worried about that as well, especially for daily driving. I think the drop on this car maybe 1- 1 1/2inches or so, so Im thinking maybe 1/2-3/4 inch on my future FR-S would be perfect with this kit. If I don't get the kit, I'll go 1 inch or so.
