Looks wider than it is

Many people don't believe me that this can isn't as wide as it looks.
It's 1.1" narrower than tC and 0.3" narrower than Prius V.
But when I look at it side by side next to Prius V, it sure looks wider.

The low height definitely contributes to that, its all about the ratio of H/W IMHO.
