Avid-1 AV 20 fit and quality

I am seriously considering getting a set of the Avid AV20 wheels. I'm looking at the 18 x 8.5 with a 33 offset.

I was wondering if anyone has them right now and if so what they think about the fitment and quality of the wheels.

FYI I have stock shocks and struts but am lowered an inch on the TRD springs.

Thanks!

I just got these yesterday. Tires are 235/40s and they are slightly rounded. I think 245s would look better and more aggressive. If you like that meaty look. I am running on Eibach Pro-kit so same drop as you. The rears are almost perfect fiment maybe a slightly lower offset and the fronts would look better with a higher offset. I am overall happy with them for the price. I was debating between these or ambit wheels. What specific questions do you have? Maybe I can answer them.

So you didnt have any problems with the tires rubbing on the stock struts? I know thats a problem a lot of people have.

Love mine. I didn't have any issues rubbing with my 17x9s on stock struts. Held up really well to some track days, auto-x, and tons of backroad runs. Look spot on as well.

So the front wheels poke out a little bit and the rears are basically perfect?

I agree with this. Don't expect them to look amazing. The finish is acceptable at best.
