Seems for me, that the most recent update software has fixed my OFT. All tunes that were on it before the bricking are back and recognised...!

Damn it... wish I waited. I'm still waiting for the fix to be able to unmarry the OFT with the stock tune back on. Plus I would have had $50 more in my pocket from all the shipping expenses.

I brought up this issue with them and they didn't seem to understand that when this happens that you are forever tied to using OFT to run a stock tune.

I hate to bump a month and a half old thread, but have you guys found a solution? This happened to me after not plugging my OFT in for a few months and now it's bricked. I've been emailing Shiv, but he stopped replying to me after i sent him my debug file.

He probably sent the debug file to alientech that make the device . Try updating your oft again and se if that helps ie connect to pc with internet connection

Else it will need to be replaced or repaired

Have you tried uninstalling open-flash manager, downloading the newest one, installing, restarting, and then connecting your OFT back up and updating? It might take a couple tries, but if you could just fix your OFT it would be less trouble than replacing it.

I did I've tried just about everything I could think of to no avail. Fortunately Shiv got back to me today and I'll be meeting up with him next week.
