I can't quite figure out what the purpose of those winglets is other than hooking your car on the occasional curb.

Yeah I normally love Greddy products...but that just looks like rice.

On that car, they have no purpose other than to imitate the functional aerodynamic devices of race cars (ie. Rice). On actual race cars, those inverted U shaped bits are placed at the ends of the front wing or splitter to capture the vortex that forms when air flows from the high pressure region above the wing or splitter into the low pressure region below. This vortex has a sealing effect between the wing and the ground which improves the downforce and efficiency of the wing.

i dont understand how greddy releases the prelude lip kit which looks dope... but then they release this?

its like they took the worst aspects of veilside and put it into a lip kit...
