colHolm's Ultramarine 6M

So I'm kinda thinking this thread will be a place for me to keep track of everything I've done to the car.

To start, I took it over to Hamza7's place for a proper prep and detail. Pics are here. Before he really got into it, I removed the FR-S badge.

Next on the list was a front plate relocation kit. Thanks to RHO-Plate, I've got one! Not sure when they will be on sale, but here are some pics:

I've got LEDs for the dome light, trunk light, license plate light and reverse lights... just need to put them in and take some pics.

I'm just about to pay my invoice for my Beat-Sonic antenna. Once it gets here there will be more pics.

I've got some other plans that should start coming together over the next week or so. I'll keep you all posted.

So that was your car at Hamza7. Cool.

Would you care to share the types or part numbers of the LED's for the various lights? I am interested. Thanks.

Love the car and the color you chose! Am I the only one though that thinks if there must be a license plate the middle looks best?

Usually, I would agree. I like symmetry on my car. In this case, it's asymmetry lol. I just think that the plate in the middle takes away some of the drama of the grill... the offset plate is less of a visual distraction from the lines.

A couple little things to share...

I've gotta thank Shinzowerks in Markham for wrapping the taillights for me. Just don't ask them to do another pair! I think I'll end up cutting out the turn signals, but for now I like the red.

I also got this keychain/key rack:

The base is magnetized. Pretty sweet if you ask me.

I want to get the lights wrapped as well but I'm concerned about the condensation issue and either having the dealer refuse to replace the lights if condensation starts or having to pay to have a 2nd set wrapped again.

Run a bead of silicone around the lens and be worry free.

A couple updates - finished the tails and installed my beat-sonic antenna.

I'll try to grab some pics of the LEDs I installed.

Morimoto Mini H1 HID upgrade coming soon (with DIY guide).

The combination of the sharkfin and the tailight wrap make the car look so much better and not like a toy...nice work!
