Yes, he stopped what he was doing here to take care of this issue with wet tail lamp thing.

Chief Tada hasn't gone home for more than a few days a month between his global travel and PR work lately.
So everyone please say "thanks" to all the Team86 being on top of it all, everywhere in the world, constantly.

Wasn't what I really expected, but it's still a fun thing to do.

This is Chief Tada, last week, at the Nurburgring Germany, over-seeing the VLN 24 hour race...

Tada san's schedule is busier than a F1 driver.

Between Nurburgring and Abu Dahbi he was in Hing Kong and he is coming to Australia this week. He must have millions of frequent flyer points lol

Just to update you guys: Toyota replaced my taillight with a new one on Monday. I'm a satisfied customer. They gave me a copy of the service bulletin, shall I post it up?

Do you think these issues effect the BRZ?

I'm sure they do. They're all built on the same production line. They're just going to be less common because the BRZ is less common.

Just to point something out then. It's been raining here for almost a week straight. It just let up today and I've been keeping a lookout for condensation the last four or five days. There has been zero problems with my BRZ's lights. I'm curious what these "body pannel" problems are, though.

FWIW - My condensation went away after a few days but it came back as soon as I washed my car.

Glad to hear it sounds like they will cover this with the warranty. I had an S4 once and Audi refused to fix this same issue. One of about 10 reasons Audi/VW has lost me as a customer forever.

Well in case anyone was wondering, my BRZ has the same issue. Gonna see if it goes away, if not I'll take it in.

Good for you. BTW, do you have PDF version of the two Tech Tips? I want to print them out and take to the dealer. The pictures in the linked page seem too small. Thanks.

Mine went away on its own after a couple of hours. Have since washed the car 3 times ( In a week ) and all is Ok. My poor wife is officially second fiddle. Took it to an informal auto get together on Friday night and the car was very well received.

IMHO you should take it in whether it goes away or not. If it does it once, it will most likely do it again, and you may not notice it until its too late.

Mine haven't done it, but I am keeping an eye on them.

I don't have a PDF version unfortunately. My Toyota dealership printed them out and gave them to me. I could try to take a hi-res image of the printed pages if you'd like.

Hey rbrtndrws, it would be great if you have a scanner around and can make a hi-res copy. I tried to find them at https://techinfo.toyota.com/ , but it needs subscription. Take your time. I'm not in a hurry. Appreciated it.

Mine went away over the weekend. Washed the car and it hasn't come back.

If its true condensation, as opposed to a leak, it would most likely require a certain set of temperature/moisture/dewpoint events to happen (similar to fog) I would think. Not sure just washing the car would be enough.

Its similar to how on some mornings you get dew on the windows and some mornings you don't.

Just my opinion, I could be completely wrong. With my luck though, I'd see it in the first 100 miles, it would never show up again, until I hit 32,001 miles!
