BRZ/FRS Meetup it's about time!

So, a bunch of us have gotten our BRZ and some are getting them in the next couple weeks. I think it's time for us to have a meet. I unfortunately am not free until after the 16th of this month when school gets out. However Saturday the 23rd or 30th would work for me. What do all you guys think? When should we have it and Where? Is there a large park somewhere close to/in between Worcester/Boston that we could all chill at? I'm thinking something like Colt State Park in Bristol, RI but closer to Boston where we could chill on a grassy field or something and barbeque for lunch.

Any suggestions?

Great idea! How about a cruise up Cadilac Mountain in Acadia National Park? It's alway fun to cruise up there. Ton of cool back roads too!

Or a "cruise" to Presque Isle for the Loring Land Speed Races in July? I'll be there!

Another great idea. Yes a "cruise"

Actually was up there not long ago. Doing 90 MPH on the highway (75 is the limit) Haha. Nothing is up there past Orono (which is where i live).

I'd be up for a meet somewhere in the Boston-Worcester corridor, but probably not for a cruise. Stupid grad school!

Purgatory Chasm? Wachusett Mountain? Blue Hills?

Just mere suggestions unless you guys are looking for something more city like?

I'm down for a meet. I'd prefer somewhere in Mass myself, as Rhode Island is a bit far, although CSP is a great spot.

We could hook up with the Boston area Wednesday meets that the Subaru guys have... they usually meet up in the Boston area around 7ish and go out to eat. I know many of them are dying to see the BRZ/FR-S!

I don't trust my city driving skills in boston with my new BRZ. Think i'd be too nervous haha. I've been through Boston a few times, and each time im not really happy with some of the narrow-minded asshat drivers down there. Not saying anyone here is, but just my experience

I'm a country boy after all!

The Boston area meets aren't in Boston, they're in the greater Boston area.

And at Stafford Springs of all places. That's like the armpit of CT. And an awful track.

It's not bad, I started driving there 3 times a week or so and after the first few times you start to adjust to the way they drive

I'm mapping out a few routes on western MA roads for possible meet and drives.

I recommend picking up an FRS radio if you don't have one (until this moment, I didn't realize the dual meaning of that acronym).

A saturday would be great for this, there is always blue hills out in the south shore area with some nice roads and nice spots to park.

I'm up for a meetup! I would prefer either Mass, or upstate NH/Maine (It is just plain pretty up there)

I'm down for a meet/cruise. Either on a tuesday, wednesday, sat, sun.
Just let me know
We should make a FB group so we can coordinate better and in real time.
